Drawing, 11th April

In the final practical session of drawing we did three half hour drawings of the model, one from the front, the side, and the back.

I decided to use a combination of chalk and pencil, I drew it out in pencil then went over it in chalk, I also used the chalk to show lighting.

 Apart from the thin arms, I thought this one turned out quite well, especially with the shading around the stomach as it brings out the shape of it very well

 This one was the hardest as there is not a lot of things to reference, apart from the folds in the back

 

I spent a bit too long with the measurements so i had to rush the arms and the shading, although I do think the shading on the top right leg is pretty good.

Drawing (april 4th)

This weeks task was to draw the model in various poses, after each pose he moves his arms or/and legs a bit, when these images are put together they are to make an animation. The way we did this was that we used tracing paper so that we could use the previous frame to help draw out the next frame. the first image was done in 15 minutes as we had to make sure that this one was done correctly as this was the one that we would use to help with the other images, as we could just retrace the parts that don't move. The ret of the drawing where done in 5 minutes.
